BRAMPTON, Ont. – The Canadian Corrugated and Containerboard Association (CCCA) has struck an agreement with the Paper + Packaging Board (PPB), an American organization that promotes the use of paper-based packaging, to use the latter’s media assets in the Canadian market.

A CCCA news release sent out earlier today stated that the PPB marketing toolkit includes digital signs, posters, logos, and videos. The organization also has a cartoon mascot, a living, walking box named Casey.

Casey made his debut in February, in the YouTube video Box’s Mission: To Deliver.

Founded in 2015, the PPB was created by members of the United States packaging industry for paper-packaging promotion. The organization creates a pool of funds to focus on the highlights of paper packaging products more effectively than a single company could.

Based in Brampton, Ont., the CCCA is a member-supported, federally registered nonprofit trade association for promoting corrugated and containerboard packaging.
